Butterfly Fortune
I've been an avid (organic) gardener for years, but I've never had the fortune of seeing a butterfly hatch in it's natural setting...well, sort of. I did snap a stem from a plant once with eggs on it and placed it in a bug box to watch the metamorphosis.

I've seen a butterfly hatch before! In fact, when I was a little girl growin' up in church, we had a class where we watched worms transform into butterflys. The lady who taught my class does it every year... to this day, she still collects the little worms to put into a mesh cage with a plant they can munch on... and when the time is right... they climb to the top of the mesh and form into the crysalis. (Sp?) Anywho... it was the coolest thing to watch... and even cooler that she explained about how we grow as people and as Christians into something beautiful... but it takes time :)
Well, I'll be going... it's about dinner time, and your cooking... and IM HUNGRY!!! *snicker*
Amber...That's pretty cool. I have a friend that works at a butterfly garden. She does the same thing as demonstrations for the children that come to programs offered there. Texas Discovery Gardens.
Have a GREAT day!...Gammy
